Rising Up Solo assists individuals in developing their careers by providing resources such as resume writing assistance, interview preparation, job search strategies, skills training, and networking opportunities. The goal is to empower individuals to achieve their professional aspirations and attain meaningful employment.
Recognizing the importance of mental and emotional well-being, Rising Up Solo offers coaching, support groups, and workshops focused on topics such as stress management, self-care, building resilience, and interpersonal skills. These services aim to foster a supportive community where individuals can share experiences and receive guidance in navigating life’s challenges.
This program’s focus is on both personal and professional growth through structured goal-setting and ongoing coaching. Program participants meet weekly with an assigned coach who will collaborate to set and achieve personal and professional goals, and connect participants with partners and resources. This program assists with needs such as: professional development, social and emotional support. To qualify for a scholarship, the participant must engage in this program for at least 6 months, provided that funds are available.
In cases where specific resources are unavailable within the organization, Rising Up Solo facilitates connections with external community resources and support services. This may involve referrals to partner organizations, government agencies, nonprofit agencies, or other community-based programs that can address individuals’ needs beyond the scope of what the organization directly offers.
